‘Jenny saw my horse a few weeks ago towards the end of his 6 week summer holiday. I was very impressed with her calm and thorough approach and how she talked me through what she found and she was doing, she gave me lots of stretches to do after he’s worked to keep his muscles soft. He’s now back from his holiday, has started hacking and is feeling lovely and relaxed and loose. Will be booking in another session for a few months time’

‘Jennifer was recommend to us by another business to help us with our 11 year old Cavalier, Archie. Who had a ruptured cruciate ligament. Jennifer was extremely helpful, coming to see Archie at our home. She had several recommendations to make and used heat therapy to relieve his pain. She liaised with our Vet and sent what they described as a very good follow up report. She has been more than helpful in talking to us about his future treatment. We couldn’t of asked for a nicer, more caring person to help with our poorly dog. Thank you Jennifer.’

‘Jen came to see my 2yr old Toller for a general check as I’m hoping to do agility with him. She was lovely & patient with him when he decided it was time to squirm, randomly wander off or just nose in her bag & knock over her equipment. She even managed to find some tight spots on him amongst all the chaos. Can’t Wait for her to meet my other 2 boys!’

‘Jen saw my terrier today who can be nervous with new people but had been slowing down. Jen was lovely took time to let Gretal go to her and give her treats and make her comfortable before examining her. Gretal really warmed to her and enjoyed the heat pad and massage to loosen up some muscles. DEFINATELY recommend and will be returning for another appt.’

‘Jen saw my 4 year old chocolate lab who has mild hip dysplasia. Tella generally doesn’t like be touched by people but Jen was really gentle with her and she really enjoyed the session especially the wobble cushion!! Thanks Jen’

‘Peggy saw Jenny at the weekend as I thought she was getting stiffer and increasingly reluctant to jump into the car for walks. Jenny was so patient with her as Peggy decided that lying down wasn’t much fun when there was some one new to see. Jenny took time to carry out the assessment and has given me some exercises to carry out with Peggy each day. Nothing to onerous and enjoyed by Peggy (with treats). Jenny explained all procedures and findings to me in a way I could understand. She also advised using a ramp for the car. Thank you Jenny and I have no hesitation in recommending you for pet Physio.’

‘Mabel, my border terrier, has had 2 sessions with Jenny recently, and the difference you can already see is phenomenal. Mabel didn’t really have a particular problem with her body, but she just always looked uncomfortable and slow, so I thought some physio would help her feel relaxed- it’s done so much more! She’s moving more, and she actually looks taller as her back has been relaxed allowing her to extend her legs properly, a problem we had no idea she had! Even if you just want your dog to have the once over, I couldn’t recommend Lucas Veterinary Physiotherapy more. Thank you so much Jenny, and trust me, I will be bringing Mabel back!’

‘Jennifer gave my 2 horses a physio session last week. They just loved it. They’re both elderly – 23yrs and 26yrs – and although in fairly good health I felt they could benefit from some TLC. A young friend rode the 23yr old this week – She said ‘ Hey really good boy! Like a different horse all free and everything! ‘ Also after 18yrs of being twitchy when brushed on his sides ( where Jennifer found trigger points ) he no longer twitches. I’ve ridden the 26yr old who felt very free moving. They’re both looking forward to their next session.’
